Laura Richmond

Laura Richmond completed a PhD in medieval history and was an advisory editor at the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography but switched careers after the birth of her son in 2014. She is now a researcher, campaigner and consultant to charities, universities and the NHS, working to improve mental health care, especially for parents and families, based on her own experience of complex trauma and autism. All My Worldly Joy is her first book.

She lives in Southampton with her son and two cats.
