Mario Theodorou

Mario Theodorou is an author, screenwriter and director based in London.

A Bafta member, he was selected for the BBC Drama Writer’s Programme and BBC Drama Room, and has written for BBC Drama, BBC Radio 4, BBC Sounds, and Sky. His works include The Master Forger, Conny and The Cyprus Missing.

His short films Anonymous, Echo, and The Gifted Hypothesis have screened at Oscar, Bafta and BIFA qualifying film festivals, earning awards including Best Drama at Cannes Shorts and a Best Short nomination at the Austin Film Festival.

His debut novel Felix Grey and the Descendant was published in 2025. The sequel, Felix Grey and the Seven Assassins, will be published in summer 2026.
