Sophie Pierce

For many years Sophie Pierce was a radio and TV reporter for BBC South West.

She has published five wild swimming guides to the southwest of England with her friend Matt Newbury, as well as Rock Idols: A Guide to Dartmoor in 28 Tors, co-authored with her husband Alex Murdin.

She lives on the edge of Dartmoor.
