Suzie Wilde

Suzie Wilde was born and raised with a cemetery between her and the sea. Her Welsh mother, a psychic who could smell death coming, gave her a love of her country’s myths. Her early reading was horror comics such as Tales from the Crypt, all Dennis Wheatley’s books and Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

She has degrees in English and Fine Art, and an MA with distinction in Creative Writing from the University of Sussex. In 2014, she was selected as one of the first six playwrights to take part in a series of workshops at the Criterion Theatre. She is the author of the three-part Viking fantasy The Bera Saga.

She hosts the podcast Talking Books with Tim Kelly of the independent bookshop One Tree Books.

She lives in Chichester.
